Summary Report
A paddy grain quality assessment was conducted on crops grown with BEST Terramend Cereal Grain (TM CG) with application of 375 ml/ha, two times each season, in fields located in Sungai Chui Chak, Perak. The harvested paddy was collected at C.K. Yong Trading and subsequently sent to Hayat Maju Sdn. Bhd. for processing into white rice.
Samples of dried paddy grains with husks were taken from both TM CG-treated fields and untreated (control) fields at Hayat Maju Sdn. Bhd. A thousand-grain weight test was performed to evaluate grain quality.
The results revealed that the average weight of dried paddy grains from TM CG-treated fields was significantly higher, at 29.20 grams per thousand grains, compared to 27.21 grams per thousand grains from untreated fields.
This represents a 7.67% increase in grain weight, demonstrating that TM CG improves paddy grain quality. By activating native soil microbes, TM CG enhances crop quality and performance effectively.
