Best Environmental Technologies Inc., founded in 1999 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, BEST has since expanded its operations across more than 30 countries, including North America, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Africa, and Asia.
Established in 2006, is 100% Australian-owned. It began offering its signature product, TM-AG, a biostimulant, in the same year. The products are manufactured in Goulburn, NSW, using both imported and local ingredients.
BEST China began its operations in Shenzhen in 2014, laying the foundation for its expansion in the region. In 2021, it incorporated its parent company, Best (Shenzhen) Microbial Technology Co. Ltd. (Chinese: ‘博创息壤（深圳）微生物科技有限公司’), and has since grown to include five subsidiaries. Positioned as BEST Asia’s primary manufacturer, the company plays a crucial role in addressing food security by supplying innovative agricultural technologies and solutions to neighboring countries. By enhancing crop yields and improving soil health, BEST China contributes to the broader goal of ensuring sustainable food production across Asia.
Best Environmental Technologies (M) Sdn Bhd | BEST Malaysia began field testing its products at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) in 2015. By 2018, the company established an site office in UPM Serdang, Kuala Lumpur and started product trials at Nestlé’s paddy fields in Kedah, in collaboration with Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR). This partnership aimed to improve rice production, a critical component of Malaysia’s food security strategy. The successful results led to BEST Malaysia becoming an official vendor for Nestlé. In 2020, BEST Malaysia was appointed as the official distributor for the Malaysian market, reinforcing its commitment to advancing agricultural technologies that support sustainable rice production and contribute to national food security.”
BEST Indonesia, operating under PT BestIndo Solusi Integra (BSI) since 2022, began field tests with Trisakti University in 2023 to deliver innovative biostimulant solutions across the archipelago. After a successful year of trials, it became an official vendor for Kapal Api Coffee in 2024. The company expanded its operations to support 10,000 hectares of oil palm with Alpha Farm and additional paddy fields. In February 2023, BEST Indonesia established its headquarters in Jakarta to further its research and support sustainable farming practices, working with key clients including Kapal Api Coffee, Alpha Farm’s plantations, and DoA Java’s agricultural projects.
