Pt. Bestindo Solusi Integra (BSi), in partnership with Best Enviro Tech (Asia) Pte Ltd, promotes Canadian agricultural innovations from Best Farming Systems, notably BEST Terramend Agricultural (TM Ag) and Active Ingredients 73 (Ai73). These products focus on soil rejuvenation. In December 2022, BSi introduced TM Ag and Ai73 to Pak Rasmu, a farmer in Bongas Kulon, West Java, Indonesia. He trialed the products under BSi’s support and monitoring in his 0.084-hectare paddy field. Cultivating the Empari-32 rice variety, Pak Rasmu observed significant improvements during the March 2023 harvest: a 33% yield increase and a reduction of empty rice husk by a quarter. The products economic benefit was calculated at 391%, highlighting the transformative potential of TM Ag and Ai73 for monoculture paddy farming.
